Aim:
- To demonstrate the feasibility of production of essential medicines for the resource poor settings in sheep milk within the framework of the Biotech tropicana Systems internal policies applying recombinant DNA technology.
- To establish a background for production of recombinant medicines and vaccines – made in the Biotech tropicana Systems-.
The project is designed in three phases.
PHASE 1: EXPLORATORY
The exploratory phase will collect data for design of model systems.

PHASE II: DEVELOPMENT
Model sheeps will developed using models designed at phase 1.

PHASE III: IMPLEMENTATION
The medicines and vaccines -made in the Biotech tropicana Systems- will be implemented in eligible resource poor communities.

NOTES:
The recombinant medicines and vaccines for the resource poor communities program is a subset of the Biotech tropicana Systems essential medicines and vaccines program for the global market.
